Accounts Receivable Clerk

Robert Half Finance & Accounting are recruiting a new role of Accounts Receivable Clerk to join a growing professional services business based in Leeds City Centre. With an expansion of the team due to extended needs the company are looking to welcome several new staff in the summer of 2024.

This role would be ideal for a person with administrative experience who is looking to be welcomed to the world of finance.

The Job

Reporting into the Credit Manager, key duties of the Accounts Receivable Clerk will include:

• Monitor and manage customer credit accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
• Contact customers via phone, email, or mail to follow up on outstanding payments
• Managing a small ledger of your own
• Administrative tasks relating to reporting and analysis
• Adhoc tasks required by management and credit controllers across the department

The Candidate

To be considered for this role we are looking for candidates with the following:

• Previous experience in administration
• Strong excel skills
• Confident communicator
• Career orientated

Salary & benefits

In return, the successful Accounts Receivable Clerk will receive the following:

• £24,000 - £26,000 base salary
• 25 days holidays
• Hybrid working environment
