Accounts Receivable Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Timely and Accurate Allocation: Ensure the precise allocation of customer receipts to maintain efficient financial operations.
  • Claims Management: Lodge claims onto Service Cloud, ensuring the validation of claims for proper crediting and matching against customer deductions.
  • Billing Sweeps: Conduct weekly billing sweeps and ensure the flawless execution of automatic billing runs.
  • Remittance & Debit Note Management: Manage and distribute remittance advice and debit notes as required to facilitate smooth transactions.

Other Key Actions Include, but are Not Limited To:

  • Cash Allocation: Efficiently handle cash allocation processes.
  • Discrepancy Management: Address and resolve any discrepancies in financial records.
  • Billing: Perform both automatic and manual billing tasks with precision.
  • Mailbox Management: Manage and distribute emails and correspondence effectively.
  • General Administration Duties: Assist with various administrative tasks to support the smooth functioning of the team.

Experience Required:

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales ledger administration experience.
  • Strong numeracy skills coupled with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Flexible approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Experience with SAP is preferred, but comprehensive training will be provided.
