Accounts Payable

Your new company
You will be joining a well-established consultancy firm as their AP Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be supported by a welcoming team who will be there to assist in your onboarding, as well as your continued learning and development in the business. Based in their modern City of London office 2-3 days a week, you will have the option to work from home for the remaining few days.

Your new role

• Processing supplier invoices onto the system (sage) and allocating invoices to the correct entity
• Bank reconciliations
• Liaising with suppliers, resolving queries
• Supplier statement reconciliations
• Preparation of supplier payment runs, ready for authorisation
• Applying the correct VAT for invoices
• CIS invoicing
• Ad-hoc support with month-end
• Implementation of new paperless software called Open ECX

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Accounts Payable
• The ability to work as part of a team
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong verbal & written communication skills
• Good problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Self-driven & proactive
• Strong Excel skills
• Sage experience

In return, you will receive an annual salary of up to £36,000 + benefits and this package will be regularly reviewed to remain in line with market rate.
