Accounts Payable Officer

Overview

Our west established client is looking for a confident Accounts Payable Officer to join their welcoming and stable team based in Sutton Coldfield. The role is fast paced therefore great attention to detail and a solid understanding of the Accounts Payable function are essential.

This would be the perfect opportunity for an knowledgeable Accounts Payable Officer to become a pivotal member of an established team and make this role their own. The business are really hoping for a candidate that is able to take on this role with minimal training and so previous experience in a similar role would be ideal. In order to be successful, you must be able to demonstrate confidence with processing a high volume of invoices, preparing and processing payments runs and month end reporting.

Skills required:

• Previous experience and in a similar Purchase Ledger role and a sound understanding of the Accounts Payable function would be ideal in taking on this role
• Have excellent time management skills and great attention to detail in order to be comfortable working in a fast-pace environment
• Highly numerate and excellent verbal and written communication skills which will enable you to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Have a property background or an industry that is focused around client monies; for example charity or legal
