Accounts Payable Assistant

The role is fully office based Monday-Friday, and has a salary of up to £26,000 per annum. You must have experience in a similar position, with basic understanding of the accounts payable process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Assist in month-end closing procedures.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and vendors regarding payment inquiries.
- Assist with ad-hoc finance projects as required.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
