Accounts Payable Analyst - 12 Month FTC

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Analyst for a 12-month FTC in our Accounting & Finance department. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent numerical skills, and a strong background in accounting within the Technology and Telecoms industry.

Description

The successful Accounts Payable Analyst will have to:

• Manage the accounts payable process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare and execute payment runs accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile supplier statements and manage supplier queries.
• Maintain the Purchase Ledger, ensuring all data is accurate and up-to-date.
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end closing.
• Work closely with the wider Accounting & Finance team to achieve department goals.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Assist with the preparation of ad-hoc financial reports as required.

Profile

A successful Accounts Payable Analyst should have:

• A strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
• Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Good understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work under pressure.
