Temporary Accounts Assistant

Our client, an established global entity, is seeking a talented individual to join its team as a Finance Assistant for an initial 9-month assignment, offering a competitive day rate circa £110. This opportunity combines the flexibility of hybrid working with the convenience of a central Watford office location, where you'll spend approximately 3 days per week.

Responsibilities:
* Collaborate closely with finance operations and financial accountants to clear suspense accounts, ensuring financial clarity and accuracy.
* Take charge of balance allocation and proactively chase un-reconciled items to maintain financial integrity.
* Keep a vigilant eye on progress, tracking achievements, and promptly escalating issues when necessary.
* Be a driving force behind implementing efficiencies and improvements, contributing to the ongoing success of our operations.

Experience:
* AAT certification or currently pursuing it
* Your proficiency in Excel and accounting tools
* Experience in reconciliation
* While not mandatory, experience in Accounts Payable and/or Accounts Receivable is highly valued.
* Your keen eye for detail
* Resilient, capable of adapting quickly and maintaining focus
* Structured approach ensures that tasks are executed smoothly and deadlines are met
