Accounts Assistant

Reed Accountancy are seeking a dedicated Accounts Assistant to join our client based in Woodley for a term time only role. This position can be either part time circa 25 hours, or full time hours. The hours of work for part time are flexible throughout the week and can be worked across 3 to 5 days. You will be required to work 195 across the year. 

This role is a crucial part of the team and will be reporting into the CFO supporting with the processing of all financial transactions alongside monitoring the finance inbox and supporting with inbound queries via phone and email.

Day to Day of the role:

• Monitor the Finance inbox and action all communications appropriately within the set timeframes.
• Processing of all invoices onto the accounting system
• Preparing BACs runs
• Bank and credit card reconciliations
• Aged Debtor reporting
• VAT returns
• Management of ledgers.
• Assist with the production of monthly Management Accounts.
• Assist the CFO with statutory returns and the preparation of accounts for the annual audit.

To be considered for the role you will have proven experience in a finance position with a strong understanding of core double entry principles. You will be able to manage your workload efficiently and able to prioritise your time and cope with a busy workload.
