Job Title: Credit Controller – Spanish Speaking/Fluent

Salary: Circa £32,000 + Benefits

Location: Chelmsford, Essex

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Credit Controller who excels in communication.  This role is highly customer-focused, requiring effective interaction with clients at all levels.

Additionally, you’ll work closely with the Finance team, ensuring efficient administration of the company’s financial processes, with a specific focus on debt collection management and dispute resolution.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Credit Control: Cover all aspects of credit control, including daily and monthly financial processes, within your designated area. Your Spanish language skills will be utilised here.
• Team Management: Oversee the Finance Assistant and manage sales and purchase ledger functions with team support.
• Cashflow Management: Detail cashflow planning and maintain bank accounts for the designated region.
• Invoice Accuracy: Ensure all invoices and payments are correct and sent out on time, handling queries and resolving any issues.
• Process Adherence: Ensure efficient and accurate adherence to credit control and accounting processes.

About You:

• Bilingual Skills: You must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
• Experience: Demonstrate a background in customer-facing finance roles, ideally from the telecoms industry (although other industries will be considered).
• Numeracy and Computer Literacy: Highly numerate and proficient in using computers.
• Relationship Building: Ability to build and maintain strong business relationships, along with outstanding negotiation skills
