Accounts Assistant
Salary: Up to £30,000
Location: Chester
Sector: Legal

General daily accounts duties:

  • Purchase Ledger processing to include the Input, coding, scanning and processing of purchase ledger invoices, Preparation of weekly payment runs and dealing with suppliers as appropriate.
  • Processing of expenses and company credit card transactions
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts MI reporting.
  • Preparation of daily and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • General ad hoc Accounts duties to support the Accounts team as required.
  • Support with daily legal cashiering duties and provision of holiday cover for cashiering team.

  • Professional and courteous approach.
  • Ordered, process led approach.
  • Numerate with a keen attention to detail.
  • First class communication skills in order to deal with both internal and external relationships.
  • Excellent IT / Excel skills
