Accounts Assistant / £23,000 - £25,000 / Sevenoaks -Office Based / Permanent

My client, an industry-leader in a niche market, is seeking an Accounts Assistant to help document and maintain the business’ finance processes & procedures, updating and implementing them wherever necessary.

The successful candidate will have proven success in a Finance/Accounts role and looking to take the next step in their career.

Responsibilities:
  • Processing weekly payroll
  • Adhering to payroll processing deadlines
  • Data inputting into accounting software – new starters, overtime and other ad-hoc payments
  • Act as first point of contact for finance/accounts related queries
  • Covering for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable when necessary

Essential Skills:
  • Proven experience in accounting administrative or similar position
  • Willingness to further your finance career and to gain professional qualifications
  • Numerate, strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards
  • Strong capability of planning, prioritising, and meeting deadlines
  • Motivated and self-efficient individual
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Packages, SharePoint, and finance systems, ideally Sage 500

Package:
  • £23,000 - £25,000 basic depending on experience
