We are currently working with a firm in Doncaster looking to add an accounts senior to their team.

The successful candidate will undertake a varied role in which you will gain exposure to a wide range of clients from a variety of business sectors. The role will include the preparation and review of accounts and tax compliance work.

As the firm is a training practice the successful applicant will be offered full study support for their ACA / ACCA studies including college day release and costs of exams covered in full, in instances where applicants have costs to repay to their current employer provisions can be made.

Main duties of the role include:

  • Prepare and review financial statements: including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
  • Provide financial and business advisory services to clients: such as budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
  • Assist clients in tax planning and compliance activities: including preparing corporate, individual, partnership, and/or trust tax returns, and advising on tax optimization strategies.
  • Stay updated on regulatory changes and accounting standards updates: ensuring clients' compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.

Salary: £30,000 - £36,000 + Study Support
