Account Manager

Account Manager, West London - Up to £35k plus commission

Are you an Account Manager with experience within the courier / logistics industry? We’re looking for an Account Manager to join a busy team who are experts in the courier space. You’ll be managing over 125 courier accounts across London, travelling to meetings and ensuring great relationships with a wide range of clients.

Visiting London clients once or twice per week, this Account Manager will be negotiating business contracts and delivering sales pitches to newer prospective clients too. You’ll manage budgets of the courier client, explaining costs or expenditures and work with a CRM to ensure all relevant information is kept up-to-date.

The Account Manager we’re looking for will be someone with great client servicing experience within courier, logistics, freight or similar sectors. You’ll be an Account Manager who is confident in B2B account management and the ability to keep on top of a range of client accounts.

Here’s what you’ll be working on as Account Manager:

• Visiting London clients once/twice a week
• Monitoring client budgets, explaining costs or expenditures
• Maintaining client relationships with over 125 client accounts
• Dealing with customer queries and courier job issues
• Addressing client concerns and resolve conflicts
• Negotiating and closing business contracts with existing and some new clients
• Delivering sales pitches to prospective clients
