Account Handler

As Commercial Account Handler, you will be responsible for managing your own book of SME level business, whilst also supporting senior members of staff with their accounts allowing you the opportunity to gain exposure to larger business.

Therefore, this role will certainly suit you if you are proficient in SME insurance but have the ambition and desire to involve yourself in and gain exposure to bigger clients and premiums.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Handling renewals and mid-term adjustments for clients.
• Managing your own book of clients, ensuring an outstanding broking service is provided at all times.
• Working closely with clients to make sure they receive the best level of cover to meet their insurance needs.
• Ensuring all information is recorded accurately and kept up to date.

Skills and Experience:

• Proven commercial insurance broking experience, with good working knowledge across a range of products.
• Be adept in dealing with SME level clients, whilst holding the desire to expose yourself to larger risks.
• Excellent communication skills both in a verbal and written manner, along with the ability to build relationships with and manage clients.
• Acturis experience would be very advantageous, although not an essential requirement.
