We are recruiting for an Accessibility Manager for a highly respected client committed to diversity and inclusivity. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing accessibility across all platforms and ensuring compliance with legal standards. You will proactively work with the business to improve the customer journey for all accessible customers and complete all day to day administrative tasks from booking customer experiences in a timely manner and keeping control of all bookings of customers attending site - ensuring the customers journey is smooth from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete all bookings and administration for accessible customers
  • Work with departments across the business to make reasonable adjustments
  • Liaising with event production staff to ensure all disabled access facilities are booked in and organised
  • Monitor and report on the progress of accessibility initiatives.
  • Act as the main point of contact for accessibility-related inquiries.

Requirements:

  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Experience in accessibility support / worked with disabled customers
  • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience of or interest in the wider subject of disabled access and the issues facing disabled customers
  • Some knowledge of current disabled access legislation and/or disability training
