Responsibilities:
- Safely maneuver and operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle, adhering to all traffic regulations and driving guidelines.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and report any maintenance required.
- Load and unload goods efficiently, ensuring proper stacking and securing of items.
- Safely transport goods to designated locations while maintaining delivery schedules.
- Provide exceptional customer service, delivering goods promptly and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients, providing timely updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking of mileage, fuel usage, and other relevant documentation.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to health and safety practices while carrying out job duties.

Qualifications:
- Valid UK driving license, with entitlement to operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle (C1 category).
- Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC).
- Proven experience working in a similar driving role within the industry.
- A solid understanding of road transport regulations and compliance.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage time effectively and meet delivery deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- High level of physical fitness, including the ability to lift heavy items and carry out loading and unloading duties.
- Flexibility to work variable schedules, including weekends and potential overtime.
- Willingness to adhere to health and safety guidelines and company policies.

Pay Rate:
The pay rate for this temporary position ranges from £12.00 to £13.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
