3rd Line Support Engineer - Lincoln - Hybrid - O365, Azure Migrations

Avanti Recruitment is working with a leading organisation in Lincoln to recruit an experienced 3rd Line Support Engineer. This will be a broad and challenging role working with a wide variety of technologies in Systems Administrator role for a multi-site organisation with 3000+ users.
They currently have a hybrid infrastructure with 100+ Microsoft Servers which they are in the process of migrating from an IaaS model in a Data Centre to the Azure Cloud. Roughly half the Servers are Citrix and will be migrated to Azure Virtual Desktop and the rest will be hosted servers within Azure that require ongoing management and upkeep.

Future projects this year will include amongst other things, migrating 1000+ new users into their existing O365 tenancy.

Your role will primarily focus on Azure, Azure Virtual Desktop and O365. You will be migrating, supporting and maintaining Servers and Networks with some project work.

Key technologies include: - Windows Server 2012-2022, M365 - O365, Azure AD, Intune, Teams, Defender, Networking (firewall configuration, VPNs, DNS management, TCPIP)

This will be a great role for an experienced Systems Admin who wants to join a stable company with a massive £10m, multi-year transformation programme already in-flight.

You will work in a large technical team which includes 3x Systems Administrators working alongside experienced Network Engineers and Infrastructure Engineers.

You will need all round Server Administration and Networking skills in most of the following:

• Windows Server 2012-2022 and Azure Virtual Desktop
• Azure AD, Active Directory - DNS, DHCP, Group Policy
• Azure Cloud platforms, Office365 - InTune, Teams, Defender, Sharepoint,
• Virtualisation (Hyper-V, VMWare, Citrix) - Short term whilst they migrate everything to Azure.
• Backup - Asigra / Veeam
