3D Printing Technician

£30,000per annum

Attega Group is currently partnering with our client in recruiting a 3D printing technicianto join the team.

The main purpose of this role is to use CAD software to design 3D parts for printing

In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £30,000 P/A, depending on experience, plus Lift assurance covering 3 times your salary, long service awards plus non contractual bonus  

This is a full-time, permanent the hours of work will be Monday to Thursday 08:15 to 17:00 (30-minute break) and Friday 08:15 to 12:45 (no break)


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Design and Print 3D parts for Test Equipment, manufacturing aids and prototypes.
  • Maintenance of 3D printing equipment and materials.
  • Plan print activity for efficient use of printers and filaments.
  • Use CAD (Fusion 360) to draw test equipment assemblies developed by the Test Development Team.
  • Support Engineering Lab with 3D printed parts for Test Equipment.
  • Support Engineering with maintenance of Test Equipment as required.
  • Support DCC with 3D print requirements

The ideal candidate:

  • Knowledge of manufacturing production and processes
  • Knowledge of engineering science and technology
  • CAD experience preferred - Autodesk Fusion 360
  • 3D Slicing experience – Ultimaker Cura
  • Experience in additive manufacturing.
  • 3D design experience or academic qualification in the field of design/engineering.
