Description
Duration and Delivery
This teaching assistant training course is designed to be completed online at the pace that suits you. It can take as little as three weeks, or up to 6 months, depending on your previous experience and your dedication to the course. The qualification is delivered through our Virtual Learning Environment, Moodle, on a self-study basis with 24x7 tutor support.
Assessment & Verification
All units within this course are internally analysed by our internal assessors and externally verified by the awarding organisation. The assessment takes the form of written assignments, detailed guidance for which will be provided by the tutor once you're enrolled.

Who is this course for?
This course is for those working within a school/training environment supporting the education of young people or children, who want to gain a qualification to expand their skillset, employability and earning potential.
Requirements
Learners should meet the following requirements:
- Be aged 16+
- Have a placement/position within a school environment where you have access to students.
Career path
Successful completion of this teaching assistant qualification enables learners to progress onto teacher qualifications, such as the Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training- the course which provides you with the opportunity to apply for QTLS status (which allows one to teach in state schools for GCSE and A-Level students).
