ue to continued growth at OCU, we are looking for an experienced Plant &amp; Transport Supervisor to work across the Taunton area. You will monitor aspects of the Plant &amp; Transport (P&amp;T) operations ensuring the operations maintain the highest standards in quality and safety, you will also ensure all assets are ready and available for allocation, compliance elements are adhered to, and costs are controlled. Your Primary focus will be on ensuring we operate a safe and compliant fleet, ensuring down-time is kept within acceptable levels. Responsibilities Working alongside and communicating with key stakeholders internally and externally Signing vehicles and plant in and out to ensure asset accuracy and accountability Ensuring all equipment has an identification code and allocated correctly Oversee and ensure that all company owned fleet equipment is safe and fully compliant, paying particular attention to regulatory and legal requirements. Checking that all fuel cards are being correctly used, highlighting any misuse to the regional P&amp;T Manager. Responsible for compliance and that all vehicles are operated within the current Road Transport Regulations. Ensuring that all vehicles and plant are maintained as per the maintenance plan and any issues that arise are communicated appropriately. Ensuring that the 6 monthly testing of all OCU chains, slings, shackles, and harnesses are completed and ensuring all sign boards are amended with the correct colour codes. Ensure that daily P&amp;T walk around checks are completed and all defects are recorded, and remedial action is taken and communicated appropriately. Plant & Transport Supervisor

Due to increasing work volumes, OCU have opportunities for distribution Jointers to join our SSEN contract team based in Reading. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Jointer to strengthen our new connections delivery team. You will predominantly be working at LV and 11kV, with the option to also complete a smaller amount of 33kV projects. Existing Scottish and Southern Energy Networks operational authorisation is a must, and this can be further developed on with in house training. The role is within our Power division working on our SSEN New Connections framework. Based out of our Reading depot, covering the entire M4 corridor from the M25 to Bath. Responsibilities Carrying out Jointing operational activities - installing new transformers, pillars, cut-outs and jointing new and to the existing network at LV, 11kV and 33kV. LV Cable Jointer

Due to significant growth and contract wins, OCU Services, (part of the wider OCU Group) has new opportunities for experience Senior SHE Advisors to join us at our Borehamwood office to assist the wider HSE Team. You will manage the OCU Services SHE Team for your area of responsibility, ensuring acceptable performance standard. Responsibilities Notify any changes in your duties to all others who may be affected by these changes. Shall ensure strict adherence to the reporting and recording procedures for accidents and dangerous occurrences as required under RIDDOR, as directed by the SHE Manager. Shall be responsible for providing specialist advice on the company's safety policy and procedures and compliance with statutory obligations throughout the company. Shall monitor arrangements to ensure that health and safety standards applied by contractors are satisfactory and in accordance with contractual arrangements, company specifications, policy and procedures. Monitor sites for compliance to ensure the relevant, required documentation is in place. Ensure site notice boards are current and are erected in the appropriate place Shall ensure that site employees work in accordance with the company’s health and safety requirements, policy’s and procedures along with those of its Clients. Shall recommend disciplinary procedures where any member of site supervisory staff fails to discharge their safety responsibilities satisfactorily. Shall take appropriate action when notified of disregard of safety on site.
