We all know there’s only one real Cola - Coca-Cola. But here in GB, Coca-Cola is actually made up of two separate businesses. Coca-Cola Enterprises and Coca-Cola Great Britain.

Based in West London and employing c.140 people, Coca-Cola Great Britain (CCGB) own the brands - that’s over 20 individual brand names and nearly 80 products. They’re also responsible for developing new lines and extending the existing brand range to meet ever-changing tastes.

Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd, or CCE employs approx 4,600 employees, spread around sites, depots and offices all over the country. CCE are the people who actually squeeze all that fizz into all those cans and bottles and then make sure they are where they need to be – in the hands of thirsty customers throughout England, Scotland and Wales. In other words, they manufacture and distribute CCGB’s products. In fact they're so good at it they do the same for other premium brand owners such as Capri-Sun and Appletiser.

So where do they fit into that big US company you’ve heard so much about?  Well, they are a subsidiary of Coca-Cola Enterprises Inc – the world’s largest producer and distributor of The Coca-Cola Company’s products. Their Head Office is in Atlanta in the USA. The Coca cola Enterprises Head office is a little nearer to home – Uxbridge, Middlesex to be precise.

By the way, Coca-Cola Enterprises Ltd is not just a UK concern, they also make and distribute The Coca-Cola Company’s products in Belgium, France, Luxembourg and the Netherlands.
