To enable JavaScript in Internet Explorer:
- Click on Tools
- Select 'Internet options' from the dropdown
- Click on the 'Security' tab
- Select the 'Internet' icon
- Under 'Security level' click 'Custom level'
- Scroll down to the 'Scripting' heading
- Under 'Active Scripting', click 'Enable'.
To enable JavaScript in Firefox:
- Click on 'Tools' or in newer versions of Firefox, click on 'Firefox' in the top left of your browser
- Click 'Options'
- Click the 'Content' icon at the top of the window
- Tick 'Enable JavaScript'
To enable JavaScript in Chrome:
- Click the spanner icon
- Click Options (Preferences on Mac and Linux; Settings on Chromebook)
- Click the 'Under the bonnet' tab
- Click the 'Content settings' button
- Click 'Allow all sites to run JavaScript (recommended)'
To enable JavaScript in Safari:
- Click 'Safari' in the top menu
- Click 'Preferences'
- Click the 'Security’ tab
- Tick 'Enable JavaScript'
To enable JavaScript in Opera:
- Click on 'Opera' in the top left of your browser
- Click 'Settings'
- Click 'Preferences'
- Click the 'Advanced' tab
- Click 'Content' on the left hand side
- Tick 'enable javascript'
