This Nail Technician course is ideal for those students looking to train to become fully qualified and offer a service to paying clients. The course can be completed entirely from home at your own pace. All materials and tools are provided as is full unlimited support via telephone and email.

The course includes everything you need to learn Gel Nails. After learning the basics about the nail industry, your tools, and products, you will be shown the best techniques to apply and blend tips to extend the length of the nail to the desires of your client.
You'll then learn how to apply the 'bonding', 'building' and 'finishing' layers of Gel to the nail. The Gel is like a thick polish and is applied to the nail with a brush. Application is quick and easy and does not start to set hard until placed in the UV light curing box. After a few minutes in the UV box the Gel hardens to form a shiny, strong and long lasting nail.
Part 1: Foundation
You'll learn about life in a nail salon and you will understand the issues involved with sanitation, salon procedures, nail diseases, different nail systems, tools, chemicals and products.
Part 2: Essential Techniques
You will create your first nails. Gina shows you how to hold files and fingers, how to prepare the nail and create the extension. All the techniques are shown slowly and then at a speed you might achieve in a salon. You copy what you see on your own Nail Trainer.
Part 3: Working the whole hand
You bring together all the techniques you have mastered and learn all the tricks of the trade. The nails you create on the trainer hand are detachable. You save them as you work your way through so our tutors can assess them for you. Simply click them into the provided nail card and post them in. It's that simple!!
