Course Details: Core Foundation for Teaching - Level 1

The Core Foundation for Teaching course is the ideal course for both new and experienced Teachers or prospective Teaching Assistants looking for those effective key skills required in both private and classroom settings within schools. Everything we teach can be found within the PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate in Education).

If you intend to do a PGCE or follow the GTP (Graduate Teaching Programme) this course will certainly strengthen your application in readiness for your interview.

This course is also concentrated towards Unqualified Teachers in both Private or State schools. The course covers Teaching Methods and Styles, Lesson Planning, Encounters with a Classroom, Role of Form Tutor, Explaining and Explaination and importantly Applying for a Job and Preparing for your Interview.

The classes are held on a weekly basis and are conducted by a PGCE qualified tutor. We also assist you in the Recruitment process in getting you placed into a suitable school either within a voluntary position or paid placement depending on your experience and qualifications.
