Course Details: IAB Sage Computerised Bookkeeping for Business

Overview

This course is the only route to obtain accredited Level 1 and 2 qualifications from the IAB (International Association of Book-keepers) in partnership with Sage UK – two of the biggest names in the bookkeeping industry.

You will cover manual bookkeeping techniques while learning to use Sage 50 Accounts – the software of choice for most small and medium sized organisations. Sage 50 is a comprehensive business management system that can provide valuable information on customers, suppliers, products and areas of profitability.

This course will be valuable to small business owners and anyone looking to develop a bookkeeping career.

By the end of the course you will be able to:

• Create and email invoices and statements
• Export and import data and electronic submissions
• Run meaningful and accurate management reports
• Data security, quick keys and more

Qualification

Because these qualifications are part of the Qualification and Credit Framework (QCF) they are guaranteed to be recognised by recruiters and employers, helping you to secure your first finance role or take the next step up the ladder.

This might mean running an accounts office for a small to medium sizes business, or becoming part of a bigger finance team for a larger organisation.

With this course you can become a self-employed bookkeeper, or apply for jobs as an Accounts Manager or Head of Bookkeeping and could earn £31,000 - £48,000* per annum.
