Part Time 23 hours and 16.25 hours per week available (both to be worked as per rota)

Two exciting opportunities have arisen to join the Young People’s Services team.
Working with residents on specific projects and others in the community you will provide housing related support to young people aged between 16 and 25 to enable them to develop the skills and knowledge to be independent.
Working to support identified needs in a consistent and non-judgemental way you will be able to communicate effectively with young people and gain their respect whilst maintaining professional boundaries. You will be able to provide clear, relevant and concise information to colleagues and others.
Additionally you will complete initial support plans and risk assessments along with conducting weekly action plans, you will also understand and know how to apply key policies and procedures.
The successful candidates will be reliable with a supportive and motivating manner; preferably possessing an NVQ 2 in youth work as well as knowledge of supporting people framework and the data protection act. With a professional approach you will have excellent numerate and literacy skills including strong IT capabilities in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Due to the nature of the role you will possess a full UK driving and licence as well as your own transport, you will be flexible and available to work shifts overnight and some weekend work. In addition an enhanced CRB clearance is essential.
