Swim Social Work Team are looking to recruit a Youth Board Coordinator to the London Borough of Barnet.
The role will involve developing work around participation agenda along with the following;
To manage and support the development of Barnet Youth Board and its members
To facilitate young people in communicating their views to decision makers in a meaningful way and to encourage greater participation.
To promote youth engagement issues within the Council and the Borough, and the Youth Board’s leading role in this
To manage Youth Board projects and oversee the Youth Board’s work programme.
To provide and support participation in the 5-13 age group particularly in assisting in developing the work of the Children’s Fund panel (Bobby Panel).
The position will require regular evening work and some residential trips.
To be considered for this post you must have previous experience in a similar role.
