We are currently seeking an experienced Plumbing Instructor to undertake practical lecturing at a Further Education establishment in Bristol.
I am looking for someone who can start ASAP and can continue until the end of May, potentially longer. I have 37.5 hours per week available, split into teaching hours and administrative time.
Ideally, I am looking for individuals with a minimum of a level 3 Plumbing qualification, such as City & Guilds Level 3 Plumbing or a C&G Level 3 Advanced Craft Certificate. Individuals that hold any of the following certificates would be of particular interest also: CCN1, CEN1, HTR1, WAT1, DAH1, CKR1, MET1 & CPPA1.
You must have up-to-date occupational experience of working within a construction environment using your practical skills and those with prior teaching / assessing experience or who hold recognised teaching / assessing qualifications such as Cert Ed. / PGCE / DTLLS and / or City & Guilds D32/33 / A1 or V1 awards equivalent, would be highly desirable.
You must also hold an Enhanced CRB Disclosure certificate, issued within the last 3 years in order to be considered for the role.
The hourly rate is £20.46 per hour, inclusive of preparation and marking, plus Holiday Pay.
