Works Office Manager/Production Administrator

The duties of this position are to ensure the efficient operation of our client's production department administrative functions, and you will be responsible directly to the Managing Director. The role will be 3 days per week, probably Monday, Tuesday and Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm. This is flexible, however, and for the right candidate, full time, and a broader spectrum of duties may be available at a later stage.

The software systems used are Foxpro, Sage 50 Accounts Professional, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook.

This position has responsibility to ensure that sales orders have an efficient journey through the company's systems, ending with safe delivery of the goods. 

Like all manufacturers, it is important that the production dept runs efficiently.  Customer or stock orders must be produced, for which sufficient time, man hours, materials / components and good management is required.  A production dept foreman has the responsibility of the day to day activities. 

Accurate stock records must be held of all finished and bought in goods, work in progress, materials and components.  These are maintained through monthly and year end stock checks. 
Purchase orders must be raised for raw materials / component parts, stationary and all other requirements.  Subsequent supplier invoices are checked to ensure they comply with the company's purchase orders.
All documentation for order processing must be raised.
BOM’s must be raised / amended as and when appropriate, with input from colleagues.
Daily records of outstanding orders must be compiled.

Our client is ideally looking for someone who has worked within a manufacturing environment, in a similar role. You must be able to work within a small team  and be very familiar with MIcrosoft Excel, Sage 50 Accounts, and, preferably Foxpro.
