A well established geosciences company are seeking to recruit experienced Wire Line Technicians with electrical/electronic skills to support their off-shore and workshop personnel in a period of growth.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a Company that is part of the worlds largest integrated geotechnical, survey and geosciences company.
This role will involve the deployment, operation and recovery of site investigation equipment to and from the sea bed.
Primary responsibilities will be to install, operate and maintain site investigation equipment on project vessels in accordance with Company procedures.
You will be expected to carry out routine and emergency maintenance on the equipment and ensure the equipment works according to specification.
Applications will be welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate high standards of communication and the ability to positively contribute to a team environment. You should be able to display a high regard for Health, Safety and Quality policies and have a flexible approach to working.
Attention to detail is also important as you will be responsible for maintaining the inventory of project equipment and consumables, as well as the reporting of non conformances to the Operations Manager.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate several years experience in a technical environment and experience of offshore operations is desirable.
Ideally we are wanting to hear from applicants who have electronics or electric qualifications and experience of operating slimline wireline equipment.
The position offers a competitive salary, a daily site allowance and time in lieu for offshore working time plus BUPA health care and company pension scheme.
