There’s just about every career you could imagine in the Army for you. For instance, if you want to develop technical or medical skills there are roles such as Geographic Technicians, Environmental Health Practitioners, Pharmacy Specialists and Combat Medical Technicians. We need engineers and logisitics specialists too. But don’t worry if these aren’t your area of interest - there are over 220 different roles in the Army, so there’s bound to be something for you. 

You could travel the world, providing vital support for everything from humanitarian missions to combat operations. And, wherever you are with us, we’ll provide fantastic training - so you don’t need previous experience. You’ll gain City & Guilds or other further education qualifications, and unique experiences that you won’t find anywhere else. So, if you want to return to civilian life, you’ll be more than prepared for the future. 

There are plenty of other skills to pick up too, as you’ll have the same basic training as every soldier in the Army. You’ll grow your stamina and fitness and have plenty of opportunities to get involved in outdoor pursuits, like mountaineering, scuba diving or parachuting.
