Web Developer

This is an exciting opportunity to join a well established software company based near Lincoln.  Due to continued expansion my client is looking to recruit a Web Developer.

The successful candidate should have the following experience, be reliable, have the ability to organise own workload, work well as a team and on their own and be able to work to deadlines.

The job involves creating scripts that will be applied to client web servers to integrate their web sites with my client’s software.
The role entails writing the scripts that sit on company’s websites which will extract the data required for the file reader.  It is writing scripts that will query online databases or add information to an online database.

The suitable candidate should have an understanding and practical experience of the following:
- PHP language
- Connecting to databases such as MySQL
- File manipulation
- Be able to write SQL statements
- Understand xml
- Understand database structures

Ideal but not essential skills:
- VB.net
- C#.net
- HTML
- Image creation and manipulation
- WordPress

Hours of work are 08:45 - 17:15 M-F.  Own transport essential due to office location.
