Web Designer for Tone Agency

Brandshank & Tone are on the look-out for web designer with experience to join our growing team.  Ideally you will have experience in designing for WordPress to help us continue creating exceptional sites for clients.  You will be the 7th member of the team in this small, ambitious start-up agency.  

We are looking for you if:

• you live and breathe the web
• you have a genuine passion for the digital industry
• you are cool with HTML5, CSS3, jQuery and PHP for WordPress (although your remit wouldn't be to develop the themes themselves you'll be asked to chip in with CSS tweaks where necessary!)
• you are comfortable taking our informal client briefs, and producing an awesome conceptual design.
• You are good in client communication situations to deal with tweaks and amends until they're delighted with the design phase.
• you have a portfolio (can be small!) of previous excellent work
• you are a Photoshop/Fireworks ninja with the ability to slice to html if required

Experience in front-end web development an advantage not required.

Experience with UI / UX design an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities include: 

• Managing the production of awesome site designs for clients, including liaising with clients and the development team.
• Slicing to HTML / CSS and helping with CSS tweaks to test sites where neccesary
• Creatively driving forward projects and helping R&D new technologies and web standards (knowledge of latest CSS3 / jQuery happenings an advantage) 
• Getting involved with all Tone / Brandshank activity such as the blog, social media channels and developing / executing ideas for our own marketing activity.

This role demands a bright, ambitious and confident individual to work with clients and a strong production team to deliver awesome digital projects and develop this new business yet further.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills in order to deal with clients and production teams concurrently and be willing (with training) to assist these teams where necessary with their work. 

In addition, great presentation, eye for detail and willingness to succeed and grow will be required.
