Web Designer / Developer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Web Designer to work for a new and expanding Online Team. The purpose of the role will be to develop the Groups websites and commercial online opportunities. You will work closely with both the in-house IT and Marketing Support teams to develop and deliver appropriate and effective web based propositions. 

The successful candidate will play a crucial part in the ongoing development and redesign project and will bring fresh new design ideas to the team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to develop their career further and to join a company who is consistently growing year on year.

Applicants must have extensive previous web design experience with a good understanding of user journeys and human interaction with websites. You need be able to provide examples of work and explain the challenges you overcame when delivering the project. You must have had exposure to tools such as CSS, HTML, Jscript, PHP and be competent with all main Adobe products. Experience of developing in languages such as ASP, XML, Ajax and XHTML would be desirable but not essential.
