Our client is now seeking a Web Analyst to join there rapidly growing team. The company operates in a rapidly expanding internet market and is experiencing phenomenal growth.  Consequently there is fantastic career progression available. The role is based in cool offices in the Northern Quarter of Manchester.

We are seeking an outstanding individual with passion and ambition. It is essential that you have previously worked in a role focussing on web analytics rather than covering web analytics as part of a wider job.


Job Summary:

Responsible for web analytics through the core analytics software - Coremetrics and to assist the company in the transition from its current analytics software - Goolge analytics.

Responsible for all web analytics reporting but to also provide clear and insightful recommendations to relevant stakeholders, departments and external agencies in order to drive the business forward.

Tasks and Duties:

Maintain and improve regular daily, weekly and monthly reports as well as producing ad hoc reporting. This will involve making sure that all regular reporting where possible and necessary are automated.

Assist with and implement A/B tests by working closely with the usability expert to improve usability and increase conversion rates. Recommendations based on analysis will be fed into usability expert to improve functionality and continually make improvements.

Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders across the company to provide them with insightful data required in order to move the business forward. Where necessary to provide training internally.

To ensure that all new functionality implemented on the site is supported by a tagging specification incorporating what new tags are needed into the IT team.

When needed you will also provide analysis to the social media manager through tools such as Klout, Facebook insights and to get the most out of any other reporting software such as Hitwise and Google Insights.

In addition to this there will be a need to give analysis support to directors and other mangers for and presentations, pitches and board reports.

The long term of web analyst will also involve researching and assisting in the implementation of other supporting coremetrics packages outside its core web analytics tool.
