Warehouse Operative

Concorde Specialist Logistics are currently recruiting fo Warehouse Operative to join their team. Your main duties will include,  to check incoming/outgoing stock and put it away in the correct locations in the warehouse.  To pick and pack all orders as defined on the picking sheet, reporting any stock shortages to Supervisor and replenishing picking bins as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Checking of stock against paperwork for correct quantity, model etc.

Movement of incoming stock from suppliers using manual operations.

Ensure working area is kept clean and tidy at all times.

Banding of incoming stock where product compromises of more than one box.

Visual safety checks prior to use of manual and mechanical equipment.

Product movement and rotation plus housekeeping.

General:

Marshalling of picked stock to correct loading bay in readiness for checking.

Checking of stock against any manifest in readiness for loading.

Safe and tidy movement of stock in order to maximise space utilisation and minimise damage.

Carry out stock counts whenever required.

Check and manually put away returns when required, check and process documents.

Order picking from general storage area ensuring correct stock is picked from correct location.

Correct use of pallets for picking and marshalling.

Site housekeeping duties as required.

Any other reasonable task as instructed by a member of management as dictated by the need of the business.

Follow Health and Safety instructions at all times and report any accident or damage immediately.
