Warehouse Manager - The Role:
 
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Manager to join our Widnes Operations team.
 
Reporting to the Operations Manager and working closely with local site transport and stock teams, you will have ownership for all Warehouse Activity.
 
Some of your key responsibilities will include the following:
 
> Serious about Safety; You must ensure that the site is compliant with all legislative and statutory requirements
> Prioritise workloads effectively to ensure best in class service
> Motivating and developing a team of Warehouse colleagues across two shifts
> Communicate with site teams to reach daily delivery targets and meet customers’ expectations with improved levels of accuracy
> You will be responsible for the periodic review and revision of all Warehouse SOPs and Risk assessments
> Continuously review all activities adopting a "can do" and proactive approach to Service and Safety
> You will have direct control of the agreed budgeted costs linked directly to the Warehouse function
 
This role is for a highly motivated individual; ideally with experience of a SAP Warehouse environment preferably in the Chemical Industry. You will be dedicated and thorough in ensuring that all objectives are met. You will strive for high levels of accuracy and be capable of working under your own initiative in what will be a key role in ensuring the efficient running of our operation in Widnes.
