Waking Nights Project Worker (Female)

Full Time (36 hours)

circa. £17,000 per annum (pro rata) plus enhancements

The Camden Society is looking for enthusiastic and motivated full time support workers to join it’s respite service - The Hotel in the Park - in East London.

The Camden Society works across eight London boroughs enabling people with learning disabilities to live full and satisfying lives.  Hotel in the Park specialises in providing hotel-style accommodation. As a waking night support worker you will provide practical, emotional and physical support to guests, including making regular checks throughout the night.

The ideal candidate will be highly person-centered and committed in her approach to working with vulnerable people.  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, good IT and team working skills are essential.  You will also have experience of working with people with challenging behaviour.

Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to complete an enhanced CRB check if successful.
