Organisation Description

My client, based in West Kent, is looking to recruit an NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) Waking Nights Assistant.

You will be required to work a 38.5 hour week and will be entitled to 20 days annual leave, Plus bank holidays! Working for a company who pride themselves on being investors in people, with great training programmes and offer great encouragement to help you maximise your potential.

Parking is provided on site and also use of a Multigym, including swimming pool available for all staff!!

Your own transport is essential due to location
A driving licence with mini bus category included would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be provided.

Job Description

Your Job description will be as follows:

.To monitor & report on service users sleeping patterns and note any changes in their conditions.
.It is paramount to ensure that dignity, confidentiality and respect are maintained at all times.
. Support the service manager with implementing time plans.
.To provide a level of care that focuses on the needs of individuals, maximise their quality of life and promote independence.
.To ensure that regular checks are adhered to and clearly documented accurately.
.To provide assistance with eating & drinking, toileting, (un)dressing, or other elements of personal care and hygiene.
.To provide mobility support between locations.
.To assist in procedures for the safe storage and administration of medications once you have been deemed competent by the nurse. 
.Follow all procedures relating to Vulnerable adults and child protection, reporting any concerns to your line manager.
