VP of Finance

This rapidly growing, dynamic and World leading Cambridge based employer has a unique opportunity for an ambitious, motivated and highly skilled individual to join as their VP of Finance. Reporting directly into the CFO, this opportunity will allow the successful candidate to add value as a member of the senior finance team.

The main focus of the role will be to provide day to day leadership of the finance division, improving financial procedures and reports with the continued growth of the business. Your commercial and strategic input from a financial perspective will be essential for business decisions and the continued success of the finance team in support of the wider business.

Key responsibilities of the role will include:
Leading the month end activities including financial management, tax and treasury aspects.
Delivering the financial reports, budgets, forecasts and financial plans to the CFO, providing commentary and commercial input on key decisions.
Providing commercial data on new products to be released.
Ensuring all accounting procedures are compliant with current IFRS standards.
Working closely with product development teams providing financial information to ensure projects remain on budget.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with experience gained with a Top 10 practice. Experience within a fast paced media, technology or e-commerce is essential. A proven background as a hands on senior finance professional, ideally with a fast growing business is beneficial.
