Organisation Description
Emirati is required for this very senior role working within a very prestigious company.
This role is to be responsible to develop the overall strategy and determine the supporting criteria, and win bids for industry/company acquisitions and management concessions that would provide the highest return on investment while minimising risk and advancing the overall corporate strategy.
Note - Only Emirati / UAE Nationals will be considered for this role. No other nationalities will be considered.
Job Description
To be considered for this role, you will have previous experience within a treasury, analytical role where you have been responsible for the acquisitions, mergers, and assets of a company.
1) Lead and manage the Assets and Acquisitions department to ensure efficient operations, effective communications, and that the relevant strategies and procedures are followed and improved.
2) Set and implement the Assets and Acquisitions strategy, including identifying the criteria used to assess opportunities, in order to identify and acquire the most profitable companies, management concessions, and development plans.
3) identify, pursue and finalise acquisitions, including proposal and bid preparation, in order to acquire the most profitable situations for the company.
4) Oversee the investment and due diligence process through detailed financial modelling and analysis.
5) Liaise with consultants and investment bankers in order to evaluate and assess the feasibility of the proposed acquisitions and underlying development plans
6) Responsible for overseeing the structuring and financing of acquisitions including debt, equity, and hybrid financial instruments.
7) Coordinate with local partners, Government officials, and stakeholders in order to fully assess local, regional and international issues and obstacles that may hinder the success of acquisitions.
8) Oversee the initial implementation of successful acquisitions in order to ensure a smooth and successful transition.

10+ years within a senior finance role
Experience of due diligence, acquisitions and negotiating large contracts.
