Veritas Storage Business Critical Engineer / Consultant, 80-100K Euros + Car + Corporate Bens, Dusseldorf area, Germany. Ideally Degree educated, you will have a strong knowledge of the Veritas product stack - Veritas Volume Manager, Veritas Cluster Server and Veritas File System. You will also need to have strong Unix, proven working knowledge of a SAN environment and have good customer facing experience.

Veritas Certification (VCP) would be a bonus .

Responsibilities:
Willing to work as part of a professional support team to provide first rate technical expertise and technical solutions to customer's issues/problems.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing timely resolution of technical issues via onsite attendance, telephone or remote access.
Create and maintain effective internal and external relationships to ensure success and deliver against key business performance objectives.
Able to interact effectively and confidently at all levels with strong customer communications skills, written, oral, face-to-face.
Provide customer feedback on their technical issues as they are progressed.
Drive/assist in customer escalations.
Self-motivated and results driven with the highest work ethic.
Presence and impact with the ability to influence.
Able to maintain professionalism while under pressure.
Strongly motivated with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think laterally to provide a solution.
Keen to learn and keep pace within a rapidly changing environment with the desire to continue learning the latest technologies.
Flexibility to travel and spend time away from home at short Notice when customer requests.

This Business Critical Engineer role pays up to 100,000 Euros + Car + corporate Bens and is based in the Dusseldorf / Ratingen area, Germany.
