We are seeking to appoint skilled Vehicle Technicians based at our Sloper Road
depot. Working within the engineering team as part of our Service Delivery Department and helping to maintain our fleet of 230 vehicles, the successful candidates will undertake work to advised standards to maximise vehicle uptime whilst maintaining and improving quality.
The successful candidates will be an experienced Vehicle Technician possessing a
recognised engineering qualification within a PCV/HGV discipline, and be able
to demonstrate competence in a wide scope of modern vehicle systems. Ideally
you will be a time-served LGV/HGV/PCV Fitter with experience of using computer vehicle testing and diagnostic equipment. You will also ideally be multi-skilled.
As a confident communicator, you will enjoy both working as part of a highly skilled
team and on your own initiative.
A PCV/HGV driving licence is desirable, but not essential.
The position is full-time, working 39 hours per week. The hours of work are 07.12-15:30
Monday to Friday. A high degree of flexibility and willingness to work additional hours, as necessary, is required to meet the operational needs of the business.
