Searchability is proud to be working in partnership with this leading household manufacturer, based at their innovative offices in the heart of Liverpool. They are seeking an experienced VB.Net Developer, with the ability to demonstrate at least 2 years commercial experience within a software development environment, together with impressive knowledge of TSQL, SQL 2000/2005/2008 and knowledge of SSIS packages. A varied and demanding role, you will utilise your solid VB.Net / C# expertise to assist the company with a range of exciting internal developments, using your SQL 2000/2005/2008 skills to write triggers and stored procedures within the organisation.

The Package.

Salary: £20-£35K depending on experience

You be working both individually and as part of a team, so the ability to utilise your VB.Net/C# and SQL Server skills within both environments is a must. Constantly producing new products, they are looking to add a talented and passionate VB.Net Developer with first-rate C# (VB.Net 3.5 or above), TSQL, SQL 2000/2005/2008 and SSIS knowledge to contribute to this expansion. A challenging role, you will work closely with the development team to produce high-quality products, assisting with a large range of internal projects and producing impressive results. Already boasting a reputation as one of the leading suppliers within their field, the client is constantly pleasing their existing customer base and enticing new clients, using their impressive attention to detail within a fast expanding market.

The Role.

The desired VB.Net Developer will adopt a hands-on approach, ensuring the up-most attention to detail throughout every single step of the development life cycle. As VB.Net Developer, you will use your SQL Server and VB.Net skills to Develop, test and maintain software. You will also be able to design and implement new software and features. The chosen VB.Net Developer will also demonstrate competence in SQL Server 2000/2005/2008 due to the nature of this role, ideally with experience with DTS/SSIS packages, WinForms and LINQ. This is an entirely VB.Net/C#.Net focused role which will involve heavy involvement in the development of numerous exciting internal projects, so the ability to demonstrate first-rate VB.Net skills in essential.
