VAT Senior Manager

The main purpose of your role is to build up the VAT practice. You will have absolute autonomy in your role and will be given the opportunity to use the firm’s existing client base to enhance the tax practice’s offering.

Marketing will be a vital element as you will need to make not only the external market aware of your services but also the internal business. You will be supported in your marketing initiatives as part of the firm’s wider growth plans. Due to the early stage of the team, you will be involved in the “doing” of the VAT work, but recruitment is encouraged, and as the team develops you will play a leading role in attracting and retaining new talent to enhance the VAT team.

The role is predominantly London based, but there will be travel involved around the M25 to the other offices within the region where your specialist skill set will highly valued. To succeed in this role, you must be comfortable working autonomously. You must be a proven business developer with the ability to show keen interest in generating business from new and existing clients. Cross selling must be one of your key skills as well as organisation.
