UX Designer (User Experience, Visual Design) - Software House
We are looking for a UX Designer / Visual Designer with extensive experience in creating user-centric interfaces and experience working at all stages of the visual design process. As the UX Designer you will have experience producing wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes combined with solid experience with user testing and other usability evaluation techniques to join a small specialist team within an industry leading software house of a large FTSE 100 Organisation based in Bedford, Bedfordshire.
As a UX Designer you will have exposure to all stages of the user-centred design process from researching customer requirements through to evaluating designs for my client's software products and solutions. You will also be working alongside product managers, developers, UX colleagues and visual designers on various design concepts.
Skills required for the UX Designer (User Experience, Visual Design) role are:
Experience following agile (scrum) processes would be advantageous as would any awareness of the Microsoft Visual Studio Development Environment - Versions 2008 onwards, however this is not essential.

- Experience in planning and carrying out customer research to inform design activity
- Experience with user testing and other usability evaluation techniques e.g. expert reviews
- Experience producing high-fidelity wireframes, mock-ups and prototypes
- Any experience with design software including; Photoshop, Illustrator, Axure and / or Balsamiq would be of particular interest
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills that allow you to communicate effectively with a variety of colleagues and stakeholders
