Unit Manager (Dementia) Urgent Requirement

Our client is currently looking to recruit a full time Unit Manager to work at their residential and nursing home based in Liverpool

This is a permanent position working day time shifts. (Hours can be discussed further at interview as my client have indicated they can be flexible if required)

To be successful in this position you will be a qualified RGN/RMN, have previous experience of unit management and the day to day provision of care for Dementia patients and be passionate about your work.

Manager's role is to:

• manage the primary tasks and activities of the home
• have a key role in determining whether standards of practice are being consistently maintained
• support staff engaged in complex, personally-demanding work and ensure that staff are continually developed in knowledge-based practice

As Unit Manager you may also be involved in any or all of care planning, needs assessment, individual staff training plans and in meeting National Minimum Standards.
