Job Description

The UK Country Sales Manager will lead the business in a defined geographical area. The role will define strategy and grow the revenue in line with company goals. The role will be responsible for local revenue generation and operating budget. This role will interface with all functional areas within the company including Senior Management.  In exchange, we offer a great working environment and location, good benefits, and a little fun along the way.

Responsibilities

Overall responsibilities are to develop and enact a strategic business plan to support the company’s short and long term corporate goals and vision, and act as internal and external champion of the company in the UK & Ireland region. This includes speaking at internal and external events and being a single point of expertise for the target market.

Specific responsibilities include:

Develop, implement, measure and report the Sales strategy for the company within the Geographic region.

Co-ordinate the development of appropriate localised sales tools and collateral as well as sales training materials

Support communication and Marketing projects in the areas of advertising and promotional programs, technical meetings, and trade shows

Pro-actively communicate with management on the product(s), their performance and any major issues or changes in the market or competition.

Effectively manage relationships with customers, partners, external vendors and agencies.

Candidate Requirements

  • Several years of demonstrable and successful experience in a senior sales or Business development role, within the Data Centre or IT industry, in the region of operation.
  • Deep knowledge of the data centre marketplace and channel structure.
  • International experience in business is preferred, willingness to travel as required, is a must.
  • Proven record of sales success is a must.  
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and a focus on measurable results.
  • Highly motivated with an ability to initiate and lead projects.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Passionate about customer service.
