Salary Range: £25,000 - £27,000/annum + Benefits
Summary of Triage Nurse:
MedicsPro are actively seeking a dynamic Triage Nurse for a position at our client's busy treatment centre in Portsmouth. You will work under the Deputy Lead Nurse to provide safe and effective nursing/triage advice to patients, in line with the protocols of the local service.
Skills/Requirements for Triage Nurse:
* NMC Registration
* Post qualification experience, including experience in an acute setting
* Deliver first point contact care for patients
* Monitor the waiting area and communicate with patients and relatives as appropriate
* Provide patient information and education
* Assist with diagnostic interventions and clinical treatments
* Ensure full and accurate records are maintained and confidentially held
