Description
• The individual will have a solid understanding of the Transfer Agency business, servicing requirements, processes, controls, and industry best practices.
• He/She will lead an operations team to service designated clients, and ensure that key deadlines are met.
• The individual is expected to adopt a pragmatic and flexible approach to implementing client requirements and setting up Service Level Descriptions.
• He/She will lead in various projects such as system upgrades, AML/KYC, FATCA and other process improvement initiatives, while working closely with Risk and Control Team, counterparts in Europe, as well as system vendors.
• The individual should have the maturity to engage internal and external clients professionally, as well as motivate and lead a team of staff. He/She will be required to work on a permanent later hour shift.

Requirements
• Degree in Banking, Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field.
• At least 5 years of Transfer Agency experience gained from working in a Custodian Bank, Fund Management Company, Registrar, Distributor, or Auditing Firm.
• Sound knowledge of Transfer Agency operational processes and controls.
• Excellent project management skills with ability to multi-task on various projects.
• Demonstrated negotiation and communication skills.
• Good analytical and problem resolution skills.
• Experience in leading a team.
• Proficiency in Asian languages with be viewed upon favourably.
